One Year Down and Out

Jason has completed 1 year of Dental School yippee! He is officially a D2 as of today.

 Obviously we are still a long way from graduation, but I'm a believer in celebrating any milestone in life big or small . Plus it gave us an excuse to go out to dinner with our friends- who doesn't love that? We hit up Sushi Rock and then Jeni's Ice Cream for dessert, so fun!

We really can't believe that the first year is already over, time is definitly going by too fast, I feel like we just moved to Ohio yesterday! Jas and I have truly loved every minute here in Ohio and already feel a little sad thinking about leaving in a few years.  We've had a lot of friends move out of our ward in the past few weeks, watching them stress about big life decisions such as where to live and work has made  Jas and I grateful that we aren't there quite yet and are still getting to enjoy more of the student life for now.

So proud of Jason- he completed his first year with flying colors! He took a week long vacation to Utah to visit family and enjoy all of his favorite redneck activities. Sadly I had to stay behind and work (I know right? SO LAME!!) I was super jealous of him and wished so bad I could be there enjoying family and all the fun. Somedays having a full time job really blows:) I really missed him and am so happy he is back now.  Excited for a fun summer here in Ohio!
