Mother's Day 2012

Today is a day to celebrate the wonderful women in our lives.
I celebrate many women for many different reasons today. They have each touched and enriched my life in ways that go far beyond what they realize. Qualities and traits that that could fill this blog, but will mention just a few that I'm thankful for.  My own mother for teaching me to love the Lord and to always turn to him in times of need and in times of plenty. My Grandmother for teaching me that sweetness and goodness goes a long, long way. And for my Mother in law for teaching me that graditude and generosity are some of the most important qualities to have in this life. I love all these women more than anything. Would be lost without them and am so grateful that I can turn to any/all of them in my times of need. Thank goodness for Mother's!

Happy Mother's Day!

This past Friday was also my birthday. Jason sure spoiled me rotten this year. And by rotten I mean to the core rotten. I was treated to a very fancy dinner at Ocean Club (don't judge us too harshly we did have a gift card) the food was incredible! I got the lobster and he got the yellow fin tuna- yum!! And the cheesecake- oh that cheesecake! Came home and opened my gift- he got me a brand new Cannon T3 Rebel camera! I am so excited to have this baby, I have been wanting one for ages!

But that's not all...drumroll please... I am going to the US Open in New York this September with my sis and father in law! I am a huge tennis fan (played in high school) and this has definitely been on the bucket list- can't believe I'll get to cross that off at only 24 years young! I am still in shock that I'm going- 105 days, but who's counting? I also received a package from my family with some cute shirts and a card. I really felt their love for me on my birthday- sure did miss celebrating with them! See what did I tell you spoiled rotten!

So grateful for the love I felt from friends and family that day- really that is the most important thing to me. So blessed.
