Received an email from my Grandma the other day, she shared some sweet words about our Savior for Easter, too often I get caught up in the worldly holiday traditions, it's nice to be reminded of why we really celebrate this beautiful and sacred day.
"Easter is actually the greatest love story ever told.
God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, so that whosoever believes in Him will never die and have the opportunity to have eternal life - or life with our Father in Heaven.
And Jesus, as a loving good Shepherd, was willing to atone for the sins and lay down His life for the flock. Imagine the suffering--just for mine! He didn't have to do it - but He did.
We would have no Christmas without an Easter".
Missing our families today! Good thing we have such awesome friends out here to celebrate the day with.
I miss these days!!!
