Jas and I recently got back from a fun little getaway to Las Vegas! Jas actually had a dental school interview at UNLV and while looking at airline prices we could not believe how much they wanted, so we thought what the heck, why not drive and make a road trip out of it! It was a really short trip, drove down Thursday, and drove back Saturday, but it was nice to get away somewhere warm, especially since it decided to snow the day before we left! I'm just not quite ready for winter...
I am usually the picture taker nazi but on this trip I seemed to forget the camera everywhere we went! I only took ONE photo the entire trip. Plus a video of Jason dancing in the car but he would shoot me in my sleep if I posted that thing on here!
The night we got there we went and visited Jamie and Ryan, Jason's cousins, who live in Vegas. They have the two cutest kids ever and we had a great time catching up and playing with the kidos. The next night we hit up the strip and some restaurants, then went back to the Casino and gambled our life savings away.... which is about a total of 5 dollars ha ha! Have any of you seen Pawn Stars on the History channel? Well its one of Jason's favorite shows to watch and he is in love with Chum Lee! After breakfast the next morning we went to the actual pawn shop and looked around, it was fun!
Honestly the best part of the whole trip was driving in the car with Jason. We had a great time talking, holding hands, listening to music, and getting excited about our future together. This is such an amazing time in our young married life and we are really trying to enjoy it!
