So this weekend Jason and I hit up the one and only Beaver Mountain!
Seriously this ski resort (can you even call it a "resort"?) is the best of my life! Mainly because its the ONLY ski resort I've ever been too, well except for the bunny hill at Targhee so that doesn't count, but still, I love that little mountain like a beaver loves his dam!
When Jason and I were first dating he was shocked to learn I had never been skiing or snowboarding in my entire life. I mean really who lives in Utah with the greatest snow on earth and doesn't even try it at least once? The truth is I never had the desire to go. My parents skied in college but hadn't been in years and none of my friends were way into it, so hence my love for skiing was never born.
But to be married into the Hyde family this was definitely a requirement! I have to say it wasn't my favorite thing to do when I first learned and got to be decent, but with the right equipment and practice it has really become a favorite sport. I'm so glad that I learned and can now have something that Jas and I will be able to do for years to come and also with our future family :) Skiing really is so fun!
Since Jas and I will be living in Ohio the next 4 years this will be the last ski season we get to experience for a long time. (Although I'm sure we'll go when we visit at Christmas time, but still) So in honor of Beaver Mtn, I wanted to post some memories that we've created there!
