So Satuday Jason sold his beloved Swamp Rat. Needless to say he was quite heart broken about it. In fact later when I asked him if he was sad he said "Yes! that car was a part of me!" and I'm not positive but there may have been a tear or two in his eye.
I never really bonded with the Swamp Rat, ( I named him btw) and here is why........ first off the seats SUCKED. They were so worn down and had zero cushion left that anytime we drove for long periods of time my bottom would be numb. Second the A/C and heat did not work! And that just doesn't fly with me. Jason on the other hand was in LOVE with that car. Its probably been his most favorite car and the two have been having a love affair behind my back. Swamp could take him four wheeling, fishing, hunting, plus Jason could get him as dirty as he wanted and not even care! They have many great memories together! He was pretty tough to compete with and I'm sorta glad the competition is gone!
One thing I will say is Swamp saved out butts the first summer we got married. All Jas had to drive was his gas guzzling Jeep and gas was around 5 bucks a gallon! There was no way we could afford to drive. One day Jas sold his motorcycle for 500 bucks and bought Swamp the same day for 600$! He has been one of the best blessings that has happened to us in our first years of marriage and we're so grateful!
We love you Swamp! We'll sure miss you!
Well.... Jason will :)

Oh I just shed tears....but not for Jason, for Rachel having to deal with the "swamp rat" for so long. j/k! Sorry Jas, we will miss her!!!
Hay I will be the first to say...that thing is nothing but a piece of tin that rattles everywhere. But the truth is those SUBARU wagons are great cars that just keep ticking! I'm going to miss seeing it drive up the lane "thinking Ryan is here" oops he lives in Ohio. Enjoy your new truck Jas :)
